Global Kids Urges Voters to Learn More About Its Efforts as it Reaches Top 10 in Chase Community Giving Competition

NEW YORK, April 23, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Global Kids (www.globalkids.org), the premier non-profit educational organization for global learning and youth development, is currently the seventh highest ranked charity in Round 1 of the national Chase Community Giving program. During Round 1, the Top 100 eligible charities with the most votes receive ,000. During Round 2, the top eligible charity receives 0,000 and the remaining 99 top charities earn ,000 through 0,000 awards. More than million dollars will be distributed to top vote getters.



“This is an important way to connect with our supporters, alumni and newcomers to inform them about the value Global Kids provides as we develop global competency and 21st century skills among young people. We are eager to do well in this competition because funds raised will help us expand our programs in New York City and Washington, D.C., and send Global Kids youth to Brazil and Kenya this summer, and more,” says Evie Hantzopoulos, Executive Director, Global Kids.
