PORTLAND, Ore., Aug. 12, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Lecere Corporation (Pink Sheets:LCRE), a software development company, says it will remain focused on HTML5 browser-based mobile web applications. While many of Lecere’s competitors jockey for positioning in Apple’s iOS App Store, Lecere has been building an operating-system-independent, browser-based system that spans across devices including Google’s Android Systems, Blackberry’s Playbook, and literally ALL other devices, including the iPhone, iPod, and iPad.

A recent survey published in BetaNews® portrays a diminishing Apple iOS market and a growing trend toward HTML5 and other browser-based apps (http://ping.fm/FHgV6).

“I want to reassure our investors and customers that Lecere is and has always been an HTML mobile web app. We have known for over 3 years that browsers are the right platform for developing mobile web apps, and we have designed our company around this premise,” stated Jim Morris, President and CEO of Lecere.
