MORRISVILLE, N.C., June 21, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Care Management Technologies, Inc. (CMT) announced today that its wholly-owned Canadian subsidiary, Comprehensive NeuroScience™ of Canada, Inc. (CNSC), has contracted with Manitoba Health to provide comprehensive Behavioral Pharmacy Management Services for the MANITOBA IMPRxOVE™ (Improving Medication Prescribing and Outcomes Via Medical Education) Program, the first program of this kind in Canada.
CNSC’s Behavioral Pharmacy Management Services utilize their proprietary clinical algorithms, called Quality Indicators™ (QIs), and follow a proven audit and feedback protocol. The audit and feedback protocol provides feedback to prescribers regarding prescription regimens by comparing them to science-based literature regarding best practice prescribing. This approach is well supported in the scientific literature as a protocol to educate physicians regarding best practices.
